Since 1977, Sue has been a Realtor with Roberts Brothers, Inc., having started her real estate career with the largest, most successful company in South Alabama. With the exception of five months with a builder/developer in the 80's, she has been part of the Roberts Brothers' family. She loves to say "If you choose a job you love, you'll never work a day in your life!", and her real estate profession has certainly provided that opportunity.
The educational base of the GRI, CRS and CRB courses as well as attendance at real estate seminars and workshops gives her the knowledge and expertise to service the agents in her office, many of whom are the top producers of the company. Needless to say, 34 years in the business also provide the resources for problem solving and creative business planning.
Sue has served the Mobile Area Association of Realtors as a member of its Board of Directors and chairman of various committees. Her most enjoyable participation has been as Chairman of the Forms Committee where she worked alongside her "good competition" to improve and fine-tune the documents used by Association members. She is the 2012 President- Elect of The Mobile Area Association of Realtors.
In 2010, Sue became a licensed instructor for the Alabama Real Estate Commission. Her specialty is educating students as to the intricacies of writing, presenting and negotiating purchase agreements. She enjoys the dynamics of the classroom and knows the value of the in-person instruction.
Sue encourages her company and agents’ involvement in the community. She has served the McKemie Place, overnight shelter for homeless women, on its Advisory Board and was President of its newly formed Board of Directors in 2011. She continues to serve as a Board Member in 2012.
Her office, The Real Estate Center, is home to the majority of Roberts Brothers’ top agents. The office has been ranked consistently as the highest achieving office in Mobile and Baldwin County. That position is due to the association of agents who are professional, career REALTORS who have each built a substantial sphere of influence in the market place. As a non-competing broker, the focus of Sue’s business is simply . . . the success of her agents combined with nothing less than results for Buyers and Sellers.
